Free virtual training: Public Lands Advocacy 103

Public lands face unprecedented threats, but our communities are pushing back. We need people like you to make your voice heard! Our free virtual advocacy training sessions will equip you with the tools to advocate for public lands. You'll be trained in the basics of advocacy, receive an overview of public lands policy, and learn how to meet with and write to decision-makers.

Sessions are divided into Advocacy 101, 102, and 103. Advocacy 101 is an introduction to advocacy. Advocacy 102 dives into the specific issues threatening local public lands and gives you the opportunity to hone your skills in a mock congressional meeting. 103 offers a chance to practice writing a message to your elected official. Register here to receive the link to this Zoom meeting.
