Learn how to speak up for the environment. Our free virtual advocacy training sessions equip you with the tools to become an advocate for public lands. You are trained in the basics of advocacy, receive an overview of public lands policy, and learn how to meet with a decision-maker. Sessions are divided into Advocacy 101, 102, and 103. Advocacy 101 is an introduction to advocacy. Advocacy 102 dives into the specific issues threatening local public lands and gives you the opportunity to hone your skills in a mock congressional meeting. 103 is a chance to practice writing a message to your elected official. Public lands face unprecedented threats, but our communities are pushing back.
