Description

Botanical name Peritoma arborea

A 4-6′ high shrub with yellow flowers and inflated caper-like fruits. Flowers attract hummingbirds and bees, and it is a host plant for the Becker’s white butterfly. All parts of this plant have a peppery odor and flavor. Tolerates full sun to part shade.
