Native Plant Sale FAQ

We are now accepting Spring Native Plant Sale orders until February 25 at noon.
Browse the inventory, then complete the online order form. You do not need a Google account to complete the form.
Orders will be filled in the order they are received.  

I don’t see the plant sale on your website. Where do I go to purchase plants?
Plant sale orders will be accepted via Google form – you will not find the plants on our website. Please fill out the Google order form completely and hit submit. 

Only orders submitted between February 22 and 25 will be processed. We will not be accepting orders via phone.

Orders will be confirmed upon receipt by MDLT staff, and invoices will be sent via email between February 28 – March 4.

NOTE: If you are unable to use the Google form, you can still submit your order via email to [email protected].
All orders must include the following information. If information is missing, we will not be able to process your order.

  • Customer name and phone number  
  • Complete plant name (include both genus and species)
  • Size  
  • Quantity

Will I be able to select my plants myself when I pick up my order? 
To ensure the safest, most streamlined experience possible for our staff and customers, this is a no-contact purchase and pickup system. Your order will be pulled by MDLT staff prior to pick-up.  

The plant I want is sold out. Can I backorder? 
We cannot offer backorders at this time. The posted inventory represents all available plants. 

Will you have any other plants available this month? 
Our entire inventory will be posted February 22. There will be no new plants added. 

I would like to order other merchandise from your website. Can I pick it up with my plants? 
Yes. If you’d like to order any merchandise from our online shop please include the item names, quantities, colors and sizes (if applicable) on your order form so we can process it all as one transaction. 

Will someone be available to advise me on how to plant when I pick up my order? 
A greeter will be on site to check your invoice and direct you to your plants. However, they may not be knowledgeable about your plants. Our planting guide is online and will also be available when you pick up your order. 

Is there anyone who can advise me on what plants to choose for my property? 
If you need help choosing the right plants for your property, we encourage you to browse or hire a local designer/consultant. Learn how to support the Mojave Desert’s biodiversity right in your own backyard with the our guide to understanding native plants 

Why do you not allow returns or exchanges? 
To protect the health and safety of our staff and our plants, we do not accept returns or exchanges once plant material has left the premises. 

I need to change my order, I ordered the wrong plant, etc.
If you need to change your order before your scheduled pick-up time, please email us at [email protected], or call (760) 366-5440 and someone will assist you. If you have already picked up your order and want return or exchange a plant, unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns.  

Something came up and I need to change my pick-up time. 
Plant pickups are available on March 11 and 12 between 9am – 3pm. If you are unable to pick up your plants by 3pm on March 12, we will issue a refund.
