Who were the first land conservationists? What is so important about cultural conservation? What does that even mean? What is so important about the Mojave Trails National Monument? How about the Mojave National Preserve?

Join MDLT’s Education Coordinator Mary Cook-Rhyne for a multimodal Campfire Talk where she will share the variety of prehistoric and historic uses of the Mojave Desert by humans. Campfire Talks are a series of presentations about the desert we love. S’more fixings and warm beverages will be offered for your enjoyment.

We will move the presentation indoors if the weather is uncooperative.
