When you’re feeling stressed and life is overwhelming, what do you do to help ease your mind? For many, visiting the desert and enjoying its’ beauty provides that calm and relaxation. The open valleys and rugged mountains draw visitors seeking peace and a place to recharge. Join us on May 21st for a short presentation on some techniques and tips for entering a reflective and calm state of mind. We will share ways for the whole family to engage in some of these relaxing and meditative practices.

MDLT welcomes responsible, non-motorized use of our lands, such as hiking. If you have an interest in holding an organized event on MDLT land which charges participants a fee, which would have a large number of participants, or which requires special accommodations, equipment or supplies, a Special Use Permit may be required. The permit allows us to ensure that our lands are treated respectfully and that we are able to keep them in good condition for the future enjoyment of all.
